Yes, we can help with basic human necessities such as rent, mortgage, utilities, insurance, medical expenses and cards for food/gas.
Each qualifying child/family applying for our Financial Assistance Program receives the same dollar amount. As of 1/2023 we provide each family with financial assistance representing $1,200, but the dollar amount can vary depending on grants JJCCF receives. Approved applicants for the Financial Assistance Program are assisted on a one-time basis but may also qualify for JJCCF’s Advocacy Program.
No, we provide checks payable to vendors and/or cards for food/gas.
Each year we assist approximately 100 children/families which represents roughly 450 individuals.
Most of the funds JJCCF raises are via individual donors, grants and campaigns.
97% of funds raised goes to our programs. In 2022 JJCCF’s Program Service Expenses represented 97% of Total Expenses. Administrative and Fundraising Expenses combined represented 3% of Total Expenses (as per our last Independent Audit-see our Financials section)
