Jonathan (Johnny), 15-year-old – Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital & Golisano Children’s Hospital
Johnny was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma stage 4 last November and is now participating in a clinical trial hoping his aggressive treatment will heal him. He is receiving a combination of IV and oral chemotherapy along with radiation. Although the family lives in Lehigh Acres, his treatment is provided in St. Petersburg, FL involving a 3 hour commute each way.
Soon after Johnny’s diagnosis, his parents began a divorce; Johnny, his brother and mother had to abruptly leave their home and find a new place to live.
Needs
During this difficult time facing multiple crises, mother pleas for help from family, friends, and compassionate souls. Although they were able to find a home, paying their $2,800 monthly rent is a daunting challenge. Help with the family’s car payment and gas for transportation would be greatly appreciated.
