Letter from Social Worker:

Dear Jessica June Children’s Cancer Foundation,
My name is Linda Tiga Hernandez, Social worker at Gilda’s Club South Florida. The purpose of this letter is to share with you Genesis’ story.
Genesis is a 9-year-old child diagnosed with leukemia on September 6, 2023. After the diagnosis, Genesis’s mother had to stop working to care for her daughter. Treatment was a difficult stage for Genesis as she experienced different side effects that were painful and debilitating. Shashana, Genesis’s mother, is a single mother of three kids and the sole breadwinner of her family, since Genesis diagnosis, Shashana has experienced financial difficulty to provide for her children and care for Genesis.
I believe Genesis and her family would benefit from Jessica June Children’s Cancer Foundation’s support to reduce financial burden.
