Daiana, 15 Y/O, alex’s place/Jackson Memorial Hospital
Daiana was enjoying a normal teenage life until she was diagnosed with Leukemia just after Christmas Day in 2012. Since then, progress has been made with Daiana’s rigorous chemotherapy program … Daiana has had her ups and downs emotionally but her mother has not been able to return to work due to Daiana’s health care requirements. Last month in October, the family received the devastating news that Daiana’s father also has Leukemia and will be unable to work until he recovers. This emotional catastrophe is immediately followed by a financial disaster because now they have $0 family income.
