Arya, 9-year-old – Nicklaus Children’s Hospital
On October 2021, 7-year-old Arya was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), right after her parents divorced. After endless rounds of chemotherapy and enduring two bone marrow transplants, Arya’s Leukemia came back. It is with a heavy heart that we share Arya is now in hospice care, after two years of battling her illness. Throughout her arduous journey, Arya has been a fighter, showing everyone her incredible strength and courage.
Both of Arya’s parents are now by her side, doing everything that they can do to offer their only child support, love, and comfort during this heart-wrenching time. Both mom and dad have given up work to care for Arya full-time, causing plenty of financial hardships. One parent has already lost their home and vehicle.
Needs
Arya and her parents are seeking help to pay for food and gas, since they live over two hours away from the hospital in Port St. Lucie, FL. Parents also need help with future funeral expenses which typically amount to over $13,000.
