Hope the new decade is off to a good start for you. There is much good news to share!
2009 Highlights:
- Despite the continued economic downturn in 2009, JJCCF had a prosperous fundraising year. The Foundation’s budget grew 70% last year thanks to the contributions of generous individuals, private foundations and corporations. Find Out More
- We are pleased to report JJCCF was able to double the financial assistance per child to $2,000 for 46 families in crisis enduring pediatric cancer (194 family members benefited). See Photos
- As an advocate, the Foundation raised funds with our partners at WPLG-Local 10 News Care Force so a single mom of four children could have a car to transport her child missing cancer treatment. Video/Story. Additionally, JJCCF raised over $16,000 for a single dad of three children so that his daughter could have a consultation at M.D. Anderson, and family could have access to basic needs during a difficult five month period.

- On Dec. 11, 2009 JJCCF recognized Broward Health, Sun-Sentinel Children’s Fund, The Wasie Foundation, Community Foundation of Broward, and Barclays Bank for their ongoing support. See Photos.

- $25,000 Wasie Foundation grant received Feb. 2010 has been fully utilized for the assistance of 13 local children/families in medical, emotional and financial crisis. Approval of new grants and your contributions are critical to the continued success of our Financial Assistance Program.
