Tis the season to be jolly!
As you enjoy the festive Holiday Season, allow me to share highlights for this year. Our programs served 500 children and family members battling pediatric cancer THANKS to YOU. JJCCF was among 12 finalists in the nation for the Charity Navigator Community Choice Awards. Only top-rated charities (4-stars/ 4-beacons) were nominated.
Foremost, I am excited to share news about our 20th Anniversary Year! Our “Year-End Giving 4 Kids” campaign is in full gear as we continue celebrating two decades serving the community. We welcome your participation to help us raise $75,000 by 12/31/24. A Challenge Grant offered by The Wasie Foundation will match your donation dollar-for dollar up to $25,000.
Nov. 8th was our Epic celebration 500 feet above South Florida honoring our 20th Anniversary aboard the Goodyear Blimp! Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company graciously offered JJCCF the invitation only experience for (6) passengers who are now part of an elite club of aerial travelers.
The above photos were taken Dec. 7th at the “Holiday Heroes Breakfast” which adopted 100 families battling childhood cancer. The party room was full of love dedicated to little heroes facing serious challenges. During the respite event families had a chance to forget about their hardships while meeting Santa, receiving gifts and gift cards, decorating their own wreath, and face painting. It was pure joy working with BBX Capital and Neighbors 4 Neighbors for the 8th year. Also, a big shout out to AutoNation, Miami Herald Wish Book, Primark, Children’s Aid Club and many individuals in our community who adopted JJCCF children these Holidays.
