During Childhood Cancer Awareness Month you can help children like Chica beat cancer. After (7) arduous months involving treatment for kidney cancer, surgery, chemotherapy, transfusions and her single mother losing her job, Chica is now cancer free and her mother back on her feet.
Donations to JJCCF became “lifeline support” for Chica and her mother while they faced a medical, emotional and financial crisis. During this family’s temporary crisis, JJCCF provided check payments for FPL (electric) and vehicle (car loan) along with gift cards for groceries and gas.
