“This letter is just to say thank you. I really appreciate how you have helped our families this year and it has been a pleasure working with you. It’s really nice to be able to help these families that are struggling so much. I guess I never realized what a huge burden childhood cancer could be financially. It’s been enlightening to work alongside the Jessica June Children’s Cancer Foundation. The applications tend to facilitate a type of therapy. The people are asked to tell their story and that is healing. I often experience people crying during the completion of the application, but it is very healing. It’s hard to talk about your child having cancer, so I’m happy that Jessica June application is available to help them process some of the negative emotional energy that I observe them “holding in” all the time.
