Elodie
Gilene E. -Assisted mother of Elodie (8 y/o, Stage IV Neuroblastoma – nerve cells cancer)
“The JJCCF helped my family to be able to afford our 8 y/0 daughter Elodie’s medication and health insurance costs. The copayment for one of her medications needed after chemotherapy is $200. We could not afford to pay that amount because of our limited income. There were no other sources of funds available. When I was unable to return to work because of caring for our daughter at home, I lost my job and insurance coverage. JJCCF was able to pay for our daughter to keep her insurance which we could not afford. Her treatment continues for several months, and we are grateful for the help we have received from JJCCF. Thank you very much to JJCCF staff, volunteers and generous donors for helping our daughter.”
