Cara
Monique D. – Assisted mother of Cara (3 y/o, Stage IV Neuroblastoma – nerve cells cancer)
“The Jessica June Children’s Cancer Foundation provided a comfort zone in constant discomfort. The pathway of pediatric cancer is not just a journey, but also an experience that no person prepares for. We were hours away from a brutal lifestyle change after learning of our three-year old’s diagnosis of Stage 4 cancer. Less than 72 hours had passed when the Founder of JJCCF shared her story, touched our lives and provided monetary assistance to keep gas in our car for doctor visits, food on the table, and our cellular devices paid to have consistent dialogue with doctors, nurses, employers etc. JJCCF helped to facilitate a large percentage of hope to acquire total healing for Princess Cara and our family. JJCCF is a true asset to the community and an empowerment center for those families that are overcoming cancer. Thank you JJCCF staff and volunteers!”
