Giovanni was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2016. By spring of 2018, I was connected with JJCCF through the help of my peers at St Jude’s. After 5 long months without being home, you came into my life with open arms and family after family donated and brought gifts and adopted my children for the holidays! The JJCCF helped me pay my rent for 6 entire months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you imagine a struggling young single mother with 2 kids and no clue what to do except pray and then BOOM out of the sky a blessing falls directly into my lap. Jessica June’s Cancer Foundation.
I have had many great opportunities because of this organization. A family even donated everything for a Thanksgiving feast to my family because of Jessica June. It was like the world was lifted off my shoulders. God provided like He promised, and I had a heart full of hope. Sometimes I would even call Sandra and just vent to her about how I was feeling with Gio’s ongoing treatments. This foundation helped provide food, rent, shelter, LOVE, support, toys and I can go on and on and on with the amount of joy and relief this wonderful organization has provided my family so effortlessly!
